Josh shares how he turned his vacation into his vocation– literally! He's got a new job as a travel agent booking Disney World trips for clients, and on today's episode, he tells the story of how he went from zero experience as a travel agent just a year and a half ago, to now working with one of the most popular Disney World vacation planning websites on the internet.

I appreciated this episode, I really did. :D

I know that Corban already took time out of his vacation to post part of Kevin's project proposal example in the show notes, but for those of you wondering on which specific episode Kevin originally posted all three pages of his proposal, check the Episode 048 show notes. It was released exactly Tube years and nine months before Episode 188.
Some of my other thoughts on Episode 188:
1. I thought it telling that Josh simply instructed Emma which microphone to get instead of taking offense at her inquiry and saying, "What?!? You don't know? Just listen to the Inner Tube because we talk about microphones there all the time!" Josh being helpful expedited the process of getting that podcast up and running. Of course, he could have gone the extra mile and told us Inner Tube listeners what he recommended and his rationale for doing so, but the story wasn't about the equipment, it was about the commitment to production that Emma demonstrated. (If it's really important, he will tell us in a future episode. Perhaps Emma will make a guest appearance on the Inner Tube someday to tell her story getting into content creation.)
2. I appreciated that Josh and Kevin not only brought up the Inner Tube comment sections, claiming to read all the comments, but also referenced one of the discussions of the legendary Episode 179 comment section (the one about how new the concept of a "podcast" really is), which demonstrates that they actually do read them (or, at the very least, the first 12 comments posted within a week of the episode's release).
3. My goal is to have the complete list of every significant Innerside joke, complete with its backstory within the greater context of this show, composed by November 28, 2017 (the tentative release date of Episode 195) so that a list might be published on the website between Episode Tube Hundred (scheduled to be released on January Tube, Tube Thousand, Up to Sixteen Plus Tube Now) and Episode Tube Hundred Sixteen Now (Projected release on April 24, 2018), in order to make the show slightly more accessible to newb listeners. That way they don't have to feel intimidated by all of the inside jokes and references. If I can accomplish this goal, I'll send it to Corban, since he runs the website.
4. I'm up to the square root of sixteen now!
5. So if Josh can turn his Disney knowledge into being a Disney travel agent, what can I turn my Inner Tube podcast knowledge into? #QuestionsEveryTrubeFanAsks #UntilTheyRememberWhatThisShowIsAllAbout
6. There's Amish out where I live, and they're fiscally responsible, but they don't drive cars. Can Josh book a trip to Disney World for someone who travels by horse or donkey?

In case you're wondering, point number three above correlates to Episode 048 in that the term "jack" is popularized in that episode. That may not quite be what some consider as an "Innerside Joke", but it's a significant enough reference with sufficient comedic undertones to qualify for my list.

For anyone in Aaron's boat and wondering more information concerning contracts and how to be paid for a freelance job (regardless of amount charged), check out Episode 048 of the Inner Tube, the 35:35-42:27 mark, where Kevin explains the parts & procedures of his freelance contracts and why it ensures that neither side gets ripped off over the course of a project.

...I never thought about the fact that Kevin might read some of my comments. Whoa.
