171: Christian Bands vs. “Christians IN a Band”

6/12/2017

Matt Langston of the band EleventySeven joins us today to talk about what it was like growing up in a “Christian band” (or rather, being a “Christian in a band”). We discuss how the music industry has changed in the last decade, too. This turned into a really great discussion, and we hope you all enjoy it!

A note from Corban: (The show notes guy if you’re new here.)
So many 90’s christian bands were mentioned in this episode that linking to them all would have made this 4 pages long. Sooooooo, I cut them out and just left the important links in. #pleasedontfiremejoshandkevin

I think one of the beauties of the Inner Tube is that Kevin and Josh are free to interrupt each other in order to make a joke or add some new information to make or enhance a point; Kevin simply takes advantage of that license more frequently than Josh does. If interruptions were forbidden, we would miss out on too many, tube many, inside jokes. Plus Kevin has ADD, so we might miss out on some helpful advice that he would forget to say if he didn't spontaneously interject (or write it down to remind him later).

That being said, if Josh and Kevin are unable to give clear advice to someone because of excessive interrupting, then they should consider making a conscious effort to reduce disruptions or they should edit them out. [Then we might see a return of the "web extra" with all of the edited content. I'm not saying it's the ideal way to go, as it would take a bit more work, but it is one possible peaceful solution to the issue.] You simply don't want to have future content creators to miss out on some valuable advice because interruptions got in the way.

Advertising is your main tool to have the business ready to go. Actually, everybody is busy in their company marketing over the World Wide Web. Unfortunately, online company is scammed with scammers. On occasion the provider hires you freelance, or occasionally it is a site designer which orders the copy google At an identical time, if you decide on the most suitable company having excellent reviews and reputation, you will enjoy well composed works. http://google.com/ like.
