HEY! There's only content creators in the Inner Circle! ARE YOU DISCRIMINATING AGAINST MY DEMOGRAPHIC?!?!!?

Sorry, Josiah, but the Inner Tube is the podcast for "content creators", not "comment creators". You'll have to look to The Aux Cable podcast to find your a place where your demographic is promoted. (Since The Aux Cable is made in part by an Inner Circle member, I don't think your accusation of discrimination has much merit.)

'tis true... I was mostly being sarcastic... I actually already listen to the Aux Cable and am one of the main reasons why they now have a forum on their website. :D

It's true... If it wasn't for Mr. Carrot ,here, the Aux Cable community would still be divided...

By the way, Mason... "Mr. Carrot, here," not "Mr. Carrot ,here." :D

I saw that afterwards and I was too lazy to change it lol

I did mention the Aux Cable specifically, Josiah, since I knew you are a F.A.C.E. :)

Ah, okay. You're welcome to join the comments and/or not-forum there, too!

I might do that after the next episode of the Aux Cable, which is advertised as having Josh Taylor on as a guest.

I don't think it's the next episode; I believe it will be released on the 19th. However, that would be a decent time to start... you really could show up whenever, though... we're usually pretty welcoming! I am very excited for the episode with Josh, though. I sent in some questions specifically for that episode...

Oh, right. I missed the release date part of the announcement, but after further investigation, you are 100% correct, Josiah. The projected release date is April 19. I suppose that gives some time to promote the episode's release here on the Inner Tube if Josh and Kevin wish to do so.

I am usually 1 - 2 months ahead on my videos and I find it easiest to stay ahead by writing multiple scripts then shooting them all at once. Then edit them when I get the time.

In the comments of Episode 160, I implied that I would tell my fun fact about the "We're up to 16 now" Innerside joke this week, so here it is:

The joke "We're up to 16 now" was officially invented in Episode 89 of the Inner Tube. Episodes 87 and 88 were excellent, but not the typical "Just Josh & Kevin answering questions" format that returned in Episode 89. Consequently, Josh expressed anticipation at the beginning of Episode 89 for the next Innerside joke that would arise, since inside jokes are a big part of why this podcast is so much fun. However, the joke that arose ("we're up to 16 now") during the episode felt so forced instead of organic that Kevin found it hilarious, and Episode 90 confirmed that the reference was good enough to endure, rather than being a one-episode joke. (I highly recommend going back and listening to Episodes 89 and 90 if you get a chance, as they are not the edgiest episodes that have been on the Inner Tube.)

Interestingly, there were instances of using the number 16 prior to Episode 89, even though that Innerside joke had not established yet. One of the most notable examples of this was in Episode 18, the first video episode and part of the first "Kevin's Seven" (which is a series that should probably be brought back at some point). In this episode, Kevin and Josh use the number 16 to refer to how many episodes of the podcast had been completed already, even thought the number was actually 17. If a viewer saw it today and didn't realize when the Innerside joke had actually been invented, he might think that Kevin was making a reference. I actually recommend watching Episode 18 more than I recommend listening to Episodes 89 & 90 because it is less than eight minutes long, yet it still feels like a complete Inner Tube episode. #NowYouKnow

Perhaps Josh and Kevin will do another video episode soon (since there hasn't been one since Episode 51), but they have found other ways of promoting the Inner Tube on SGK without doing video episodes. From short clips of the podcast regarding time-sensitive discussions to the Movie Night Bargain Bin episodes, Kevin has not lacked in promoting the Inner Tube on his Youtube channel.

Along these lines of promotion, I think would be cool to have an episode of the Inner Tube r-e-c-o-r-d-e-d at the next Blimeycon with live audience questions and instantaneous audience feedback. Then Josh and Kevin can answer questions regarding how to put on a large studio show, how to organize fan meetups, how to find a friendly audience to perform stand-up comedy, how to handle being a celebrity when your created content becomes popular, how to react when you meet your favorite content creators in-person, and how to ensure parking spaces for all of the cars and donkeys that provide transportation to fans coming to a big event showcasing your work (just to name a few topics that they could talk about). Perhaps there could be an Inner Tube commercial filmed at the event, with all of the members of the Inner Circle. There's something you could do. [I suggest Blimeycon only because I'm not sure if there will be an Inner Cruisbe this year. The Cruisbe, as described in Inner Tube Episode 115, would be ideal.]

By the way, Josh, not EVERY episode of the Inner Tube is on the website. Check out comment 1,050 in the Inner Tube Community to find out which one is missing. (You'll have to click on "Last Activity" and you may have to scroll past comments on the "How to get into the Inner Circle" videos, the scavenger hunt of the first 1,020 comments of the Inner Tube Community, and/or the discussion on "Who Would Build The Roads", but the comment is worth finding.)

{And don't feel bad about taking up podcast time to have a content creation question of your own answered, since that's what this show is all about. Thankfully your remark at the 49:49 mark of this episode was hyperbole, but it did make me think "wait, what did he just say?" the first time I heard it.}

I nominate Jeff for the position of Inner Tube Historian.

I'm honored, Josiah, but I am content with just being a "Trube Fan" (which is an official designation, courtesy of Kevin in Episode 159) unless we come up with a title that sounds more like a reference than "Inner Tube Historian" does. Plus, I listen to the show more for its entertainment value than for its content creation tips, so what I pay attention to as significant is different than what the original intended audience would have cared about. Maybe that's good, bad, or immaterial, but it does mean that I am very cautious to receive unofficial designations since I know that Josh and Kevin did not necessarily start this podcast with people like me in mind. I feel very blessed to be able to listen to Josh and Kevin, and my comments are just my way of trying to participate in the Inner Tube's voyage.

I also mostly listen for the entertainment value... it does make me feel good about myself when my brothers are talking about mics and I actually know somewhat of what they're talking about though. :D

Yeah... you could probably tell by my unproductive comments... I could organize for your comment to randomly explode, if you'd like. I did that with the Aux Cable... :D
