I don't know enough about Houston on a personal level to fully make any kind of judgement call on his politics, and I'll give the benefit of the doubt in the same way that I would hope others would in regards to some of my political statements, but the glimpses of the public Twitter conversation between him and Josh that I got unnerved me a bit. Just the whole idea of the mainstream media needing to be protected is creepy. The media is largely considered "the fourth estate" because they're supposed to keep the government in check, but anyone who takes up the cause of keeping the media in check (Wikileaks for example) is portrayed as dangerous, inaccurate, or both. We've known for a long time that the primary news stations are all owned by a small group of people, but somehow that's a fun fact and not a rallying cry to diversify the news. Could you even imagine how our country would react if any branch of our government displayed as much tyranny as our fourth estate has?

I am actually more curious to see "Movie Night Bargain Bin" than I am the political podcast. Speaking of which, I don't think, Corban, that the link you put on is what Josh and Kevin will be reviewing. While "The 10 Commandments" starring Charlton Heston is a classic, it sounded like Josh and Kevin are reviewing something else. Unfortunately, I could not find that movie collection online; I'm guessing that it is due to the type of collection that would end up in Wal-Mart's bargain bin. You may have to see if Kevin can give some help to find the link. Otherwise, you may have to link to what Josh and Kevin end up publishing.

Just texted Kevin. He said he doesn't think its online either but if you want to find it, it's by Nest Family Media.

Thanks, Corban! I looked at the Nest Family Media productions that I could find online and, while I didn't see the specific collection mentioned in the episode, I was able to find some similar compilations. It does appear that Kevin got a great deal on the movies he got. "Movie Night Bargain Bin" should be fun to watch.

I am impressed, Corban, that you were able to find the collection online after all. Great job!

I just finished watching the first episode of "Movie Night Bargain Bin" on youtube.com/saygoodnightkevin, and it did not disappoint! Complete with Inner Tube promotion and references, it is a must-see for anyone who listens to this podcast.
